On Friday and Saturday last, to celebrate the entry into the war arena of the United States on the side of the Allies, the Skegness Council had hoisted on their “municipal”  buildings the Union Jack and Stars and Stripes.
Several private houses also followed suit.

Lost Hats Rumour

It is rumoured that 47 people lost their hats in Skegness last Saturday night. Well, we saw more than one who had got a “tin hat” on!
