Co-op in Hildreds Gives Notice to Post Office
STATEMENT FROM THE CO-OPERATIVE
A spokesperson for The Co-operative Group said: “We gave notice to Post Office Limited in January that we do not intend to continue operating a Post Office service from our store in the Hildreds Centre, Skegness, beyond the end of 2012.
“We are currently working alongside Post Office Limited to help them find a new operator for a Post Office service locally. Members of staff have been informed, and it is our intention they will transfer to the new operator, with their terms and conditions maintained.
“The food store is unaffected and will continue to trade as usual.”
