Butlins Bathing Belle
TAMWORTH BATHING BELLE PRIZE WINNER AT SKEGNESS
At Butlin’s Holiday Camp, Skegness, Connie Atkins, a Tamworth girl, was successful in obtaining 6th prize out of 78 competitors in a bathing belles competition.
The judge was Jack Doyle, the famous boxer, who was training there for his forthcoming fight in September.
Picture shows Miss Atkins, who is aged 15, and was the youngest competitor, receiving her prize from Jack Doyle. Her home is at 2 Temple Row, Victoria Road, Tamworth.
