Skegness Marks & Spencer Earmarked for Closure
Staff at the Marks & Spencer store in Lumley Road, Skegness, have been told that the company intends to close the Skegness store next year.
“For several recent years we have recorded declining sales and profitability,” said spokesperson Amanda Glover.
“We have looked at other options, including modernisation, but none were commercially viable.”
A petition has been set up on Facebook in an effort to try to stop the closure.
