Season’s Foreshore Litter
4,958 SACKS OF WASTE PAPER

Coun. R. J. G. Dutton presided over the monthly meeting of the Foreshore Committee, held in the Parish Hall last week.
The Sands Inspector (Mr. T. P. Smith) reported that the total takings of the Foreshore Conveniences amounted to £848, and Hawkers’ Licences £110. The respective figures for the previous year were £755 and £65.

The number of lost children brought to the Shelter during the season was 256.

Three tons of broken bottles and glass had been collected on the Foreshore, and 4,956 sacks of waste paper.
