Military Wedding at Skegness
A military wedding was held at Skegness in 1915, the consenting parties being 2nd Lieut. R Wylie and Miss R Crofts. The wedding took place at St Matthew’s Church and was officiated by Rev William Disney.
The Crofts family was well-known in Skegness for their successful store in Lumley Road. The family resided at “Avondale”, Algitha Road, Skegness.
