Bizarre Freak of Nature Hermaphrodite Pig
A Freak of Nature
A remarkable freak of nature is reported from Addlethorpe.
Mr. Phillip Evison, some six weeks ago, purchased four suckling pigs, bred by Mr. John Thompson, of West Keal, and one of them is a hermaphrodite, posessing both male and female reproductive parts.
The pig is about fourteen weeks old, and is healthy and strong, in fact, it appears to be growing much greater than its companions.
We should like to hear from correspondents if this is an isolated case, as everyone who has seen it declare it is the first one they have known.
