Vesta Tilley Central Hall Skegness
The engagement by Mr. Reg. Maddox of Miss Vesta Tilley at the Central Hall on Monday evening next marks, without doubt, the most expensive and ” star ” engagement of the season. The name of Vesta, the male impersonator, who is described as ” being the particular friend of the very finest tailor in London,” is one that is known throughout the length and breadth of the country, and her name figuring on the bill is sufficient to pack the house in any town in the British Isles. She ranks amongst London’s prime music-hall favourites.
Miss Vesta Tilley’s talents received recognition a short time ago when she was selected to appear before their Majesties the King and Queen at the Royal Music Hall Command Performance. On that occasion she well upheld her title of ” the finest male impersonator of the present day,” and high eulogiums were showered upon her by the Press. Miss Tilley will submit some of the same items on Monday evening as submitted as the performance in question.

The engagement is for one night only, but two performances will begiven, at 6.45 and 9 p.m., at both of which Miss Tilley will positively appear, supported by an exceptionally strong London variety company. The Central Hall box office is open daily for booking from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
