Skegness Town Centre Manager takes up his post
STEFAN Krause has taken up his post as Skegness’ new Town Centre Manager.
He has been appointed with a clear remit to support existing partnerships, strengthen projects and stimulate growth by working together with Skegness’ business community.
Stefan, who is employed by East Lindsey District Council, has worked over a decade in town centre management and city centre regeneration projects. Prior to this appointment, Stefan worked in Inverness to deliver a range of community based projects and delivered Scotland’s first city centre Business Improvement District.
Speaking of his new role, Stefan, said: “Skegness has excellent potential to be one of UK’s most exciting visitor destinations of the 21st century. A key priority for me is to work in partnership with all local organisations and play a key role in the co-ordination of new and existing projects to deliver solutions that are right for businesses. Successful partnerships can create win-win situations and deliver real results. The business community can make real changes to their local trading environment by developing an innovative Town Centre Partnership that links together all organisations and local agencies”.
Stefan will also be working to ensure that public agencies work together with communities and businesses to improve the quality of people’s lives and experiences, through more effective, joined-up working.
