VIDEO Skegness Christmas Lights Switch on now LIVE!!

The Skegness Christmas lights switch on ceremony was held this evening Thursday, 26th November at the Hildred’s Shopping Centre, and what a FANTASTIC turnout it was!

Lincs FM Presenter, Ed Bretten hosted the ceremony and hundreds of people watched him do the all-important job of switching on the town’s Christmas Tree and  illuminations, along with the Mayor of Skegness, Cllr. Pat Phillips.

Santa will be in his grotto every Saturday leading up to Christmas so don’t forget to pay him a visit!

Late night Shopping Skegness

The Hildred’s Centre and other shops in the town will be open for late night Christmas Shopping on Thursdays running up to Christmas on 3rd, 10th and 17th December.

Usually there is a fancy dress competition on one of the late shopping nights, we’ll bring you information on this shortly.

Skegness Victorian Christmas Market

The Victorian Christmas Market will be in operation on Saturday and Sunday, 12th and 13th December, outside the Hildred’s Shopping Centre in Skegness.
