Mrs Jolly Fisherman Tattoo

Another Jolly good Skegness tattoo
JOLLY Fisherman fan Claire Gillett has been as good as her word by getting a tattoo of Mrs Jolly on her right foot.
The Standard got in touch with Mrs Gillett, of Skegness, a few weeks ago after she announced on our Facebook page that she had a tattoo of the Jolly Fisherman on her left foot.
We met up with her and found out she loved the town mascot and had wanted a unique tattoo. She also said she planned to get Mrs Jolly on the other foot.
On Friday, Mrs Gillett came into the office to show off her new tattoo. When she puts her feet together it looks like the lovebirds are holding hands.

After reading about Mrs Gillett, Dave Daubney, of Dave’s Taxis in Skegness, came forward with his Jolly tattoo which he got three years ago.
Mr Daubney also plans to get a tattoo of Mrs Jolly and will raise money for charity when he does it.
He is asking people to sponsor him to have the tattoo done and has so far raised £300.
The money will go to Skegness Hospital and Alive and Kicking Lincolnshire. Sponsors have until November 30 to support Dave and tattoo forms are available in his taxis, by calling 01754 760424.
He said: “My wife says I am mad but it was a dare that has been set down as a challenge.
“I think it is about time Jolly’s wife came out into the open.”
ABOVE: Dave Daubney also plans to have a Mrs Jolly tattoo and will raise money for two good causes at the same time.
