Waddington Air Show 2009 Photo Review
All the powers that be, please forgive us for we know what we’ve done – we confess we have nicked this picture from a forum website!
But we’ve no other choice…
After casually browsing the web for pictures of aeroplanes in flight at this year’s Waddington Air Show, we came across the Fighter Control forum for military aviation enthusiasts. There we found an breath-taking collection of photographs taken at the Waddington Air Show by Paul W Langshaw of Biggleswade.
But by far, the photo below is, in our humble opinion, the most striking. The colours are patriotic, perfectly complimented by the blueness of the sky and whitenesss of the clouds. The foreground subject is in focus but the aircraft in the background has been thrown out – quite an achivement considering the subjects were several hundred feet up and travelling, well, fast!
As we’re not a member of the Fighter Control forum, we cannot make a direct comment to congratulate Paul, so that’s why we will have to be excused this time for ‘borrowing’ his picture!
Nice one, Paul – sorry!
