Peter Hopper of Ipswich has very kindly sent in these two photographs of World War II child evacuees.
Peter, who is in the pictures below, was only three years old when he was evacuated from Grimsby in 1939. The Grimsby child evacuees, on their arrival at Skegness, gathered in the Tower Gardens.
