THE PIER AND GARDENS
The number of persons who have paid admission to the pier during the past week has been about 8,000. On Saturday last the number was 3,774, Sunday 910, Monday 1,496, and Tuesday 809.
This amply shows that the pier is one of the great attractions, of the place. Many thousands have also visited the gardens during the past week, and to these the holders of excursion tickets are admitted free.
