Beer Famine in Skegness
For the first time in the history of Skegness has there been a famine in beer. Several public houses have had to close their doors until fresh supplies could be found.
At Wainfleet, one publican wired to Newark for more, but received a reply that none could be supplied as he had had his allowance.
Fresh supplies have now arrived.
