Accident to Mr Moody
We regret to state that Mr. J. S. Moody, fisherman, of Lenton House, Skegness,
one of the oldest members of the Skegness lifeboat crew, was the victim of an unfortunate accident on Friday last. It appears that Mr. Moody was proceeding down the Roman Bank, riding on the top of a load of chaff, when he was seized
with either a fainting fit or dizziness and fell heavily from the load on to the roadway.
He was conveyed to Dr. B. Sweeten’s surgery, when it was found that his head had been badly cut and bruised and other minor injuries had been sustained. We are glad to say that latest enquiries show that Mr. Moody is progressing as favourably as possible.
