Skegness Waterway
Sadly, the Skegness Waterway is now no longer in operation, but luckily, we shot some video footage of a pleasure boat ride on the waterway a couple of years ago for posterity’s sake!
Here’s how it looked back in 2006…
What better way to travel along Skegness foreshore than a lovely relaxing boat trip! Skegness Waterway is operated by East Lindsey District Council.
There are two mooring points, one off Tower Esplanade and the other next to Natureland on North Parade.
On our boat trip, we had a good crowd of fellow sailors. The holidaymaker in the video burst into song for us with a verse from ‘Oh I do like to be beside the seaside’.
Fifteen minutes later, we moored at Natureland on North Parade.
…now make yourself a cuppa, put your feet up and take a nostalgic boat ride on Skegness Waterway!
