This striking photograph of the Skegness motor lifeboat, Anne Allen, “ploughing her way through brash ice in the Wash”, was taken by Mr. Percy Grunnill, First Motor Mechanic to the Skegness boat, on the occasion of the recent search for the Dutch vessel “Tuko.”
Seen in the photograph (left to right) are Hedley Grunnill, junr., Wilfred Perrin (Second Coxswain), Harold Steele (signalman), and Lance Grunnill (second motor mechanic).
