Pedestrian Precinct for Lumley Road Skegness
The picture below is how the planners saw the Lumley Road of the future back in November of 1971- paved from side to side, with trees, floral tubs, seats and not a car in sight. This is an artist’s impression of the view looking from the Co-op towards Lumley Square.
Half way up where Lumley Avenue joins in, the pedestrian precinct gives way to a service road, delivery vehicles only.
