Mis-spelt road sign Skegness
‘O’ DEAR!
The new road sign for Scarbrough Avenue is spelt wrong, Coun Ken Holland told Skegness Town Council Planning Committee.
He said that the sign was spelt ‘Scarborough’ with the extra ‘o’.
The Avenue was named after the Earls of Scarbrough, whose family name is spelt differently from the seaside town of Scarborough.
Coun Holland said he did not think anything would be done about changing the new sign because signs usually got stolen anyway.
“But I think if there is anything done in the future it should be put right”, he added.
