INQUEST

MR. W. S. Rainey, Deputy Coroner for this District, held an inquiry at the Police Station on Monday morning last, into the circumstances attending the death of Mrs. Emily Brown, a widow, aged 41 years.

Mr. J. R. Story was foreman of the jury.

It appeared from evidence of Dr. Bernard and other witnesses, that the deceased was in the last stage of consumption, that she came to Skegness from Nottingham on the 13th July, and stayed at the Sunday School Union in Rutland Road, and that on Saturday afternoon last she was found dead in a chair in her room.

A verdict of “Death from natural causes ” was returned.
