ROYAL NATIONAL LIFEBOAT INSTITUTION DECORATION

We are pleased to announce that Mr. C. F. Grantham of The Hall, Skegness who has been secretary of the Skegness branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution for the, past twenty years, has just been presented with the institution’s decoration which is only conferred on those who have rendered special help in carrying on the great national life-saving work entrusted to them.
The decoration is a gold and enamelled medal bearing the following inscription:—Presented by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution to G. F. Grantham, Esqr., in recognition of his valuable co-operation, 1902″
While congratulating Mr Grantham on the unexpected honour that has been conferred upon him, we may state that no one connected with the Lifeboat Institution has been more assiduous in his efforts to carry out the work of the institution on this part of our coast than Mr. Grantham has been.
