The Skegness Standard reported the appearance of a new crop of beach chalets which were built on Skegness beach near the Pier, on 27th October 1976.
Fabricated from concrete in a honeycomb shape, the chalets were described as “concrete monstrosities” which were apparently in great demand by the public.
