EXPRESS FOR BUTLINS HOLIDAY CAMPERS
Skegness season opens Butlin’s Holiday Camp, Skegness, opened for the season on Saturday with an intake of 2,000 campers. Several hundred of them came from the London area on a special Butlin express.
Important executives of the British Railways accompanied Mr. Billy Butlin and several of his high ranking executives on tour of the camp during the afternoon.
Among the many things which the campers, saw during the first: day on camp were the two principal eye-catching attractions. Saucy, the giant elephant, and a new wonderful floral decorated fountain, both of which are new to the camp this season.
