Call for a Skegness Poster
Advertising Skegness
As other seaside resorts are pushing ahead and prominently bringing before the public the advantages of their respective places, Skegness needs to move forward, otherwise it will eventually be left behind in the race.
Arrangements are now being made by Mr S Coalmore Jones, acting on behalf of the Earl of Scarbrough, to have large and artistic posters, showing the chief features of Skegness, circulated far and wide.
The noble Earl, we understand, will provide a substantial sum for this purpose, but the townspeople and all interested in the further development of Skegness will be asked to assist by their contributions.
It is hoped that a pictorial poster worthy of the place will be produced.
