Well, folks, it that time of the year again when the fantastic Meccano Exhibition hits Skegness!

The 2008 SkegX Meccano Exhibition will be staged at the Embassy Theatre, Grand Parade, Skegness from Friday, 4th July to Sunday 6th July.

Modellers from all over the world are displaying their prize exhibits, many of which will be working models.

It’s definately an event not to be missed and it won’t break the bank at £3 admission fee for adults, £1 pre child, or £6 for families. The model prize presentation will take place on the Sunday at 4.30pm.

Update Saturday, 5th July

We visited the Meccano exhibition today and there were some exceptionally good models on show.

The (large) aeroplane below revolves 360 degrees, flashes it lights and the special sound effects are cool…
