Help with Computers for Over 50s Skegness Library

Skegness Library is holding a Silver Surfer’s Day on Friday 23 May 2008.

Customer Service Assistant Lynne Waxman will be on hand to show the over 50s how to set up and use an e-mail account and then offer help with practising these new skills.

There are six sessions available between 9am and 12 noon and another eight sessions between 1pm and 5pm and they are completely free of charge.

Anyone interested could also bring in the e-mail address of people they would like to contact, to get started straight away and learn how to keep in touch with friends and family all over the world.

The sessions are aimed at people of 50 years and over who already know how to use a mouse and a keyboard. Booking is essential by calling in at Skegness Library on Roman Bank.

From 1 May 2008, the opening hours at Skegness Library will be as follows:

9am – 5pm on Monday

9am – 1pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

9am – 6pm on Thursdays and Fridays

9am – 3pm on Saturdays.
