Bus passes begin to arrive as concessionary travel goes nationwide
NEW bus passes have starting dropping on doors mats this morning in Lincolnshire, as Concessionary Travel goes nationwide, allowing residents to use their new passes to travel anywhere in England on a local timetable bus route between 9.30am and 11pm and all day at weekends and on bank holidays.

Initially the County-wide scheme will operate to the limits set by the national programme. This will allow the full cost impact on Council Tax payers to be properly measured. Any changes or extension to the scheme to include additional hours can then be considered as part of a review scheduled to take place later this year.

Bus passes will begin to arrive from this week. Current passes can be used as previously until new passes arrive.
Anyone who has not applied for a new pass can do so in person through any of our Customer Service Centres. Proof of residence and proof of age/disability are required on application. A picture will also be taken for added security of  new passes.
