Accidents: Child Severely Burned

The youngest child of Mr Gaunt, baker, confectioner etc of Lumley Road was severely scalded on Wednesday afternoon by the upsetting of a tea-kettle of boiling water. Medical assistance was obtained and the usual remedies applied, and the little sufferer is progressing as well as can be expected. Another Accident - Mr Tapster, whose fingers were rather severely crushed last week between some large stones, is progressing favourably.
