Skegness European Market
The European Market held in Tower Gardens in sunny Skegness was in full swing when we paid a visit this afternoon.
Holidaymakers and locals alike were hustling and bustling around the stalls tasting the wines and sampling European cuisine - sausages, honey, cheeses which on the stalls from all over Europe including France, Germany, Italy and Poland.
The mix of aromas, sizzling German sausages, French pancakes, got the tastebuds drooling!
The picture shows a Frenchman selling toffee peanuts which were being cooked in a metal cooking chamber, blasted by a naked flame. They were absolutely delicious, tasting like a cross between peanuts and butterkist popcorn.

The European Market is on again, for the last day, tomorrow and is definately not to be missied!
We’d like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the European Traders who travelled to Skegness just for this event!
