Sand Sculpture Skegness Carnival Week

A fun afternoon was had by all down on Skegness central beach when the Sand Sculpture Competition was held this afternoon, as part of Skegness Carnival Week.
The beach was a hive of busy bees as tiny tots, teenagers and children with their mums and dads worked to produce the masterpiece which would catch the judges’ eyes. Skegness sand was magically metamorphosed into turtles, windmills, mermaids, speedboats and even Harry Potter!

The Carnival Queen and Princess helped the Mayor of Skegness, Coun Ken Milner in the difficult task of judging the competition.
