Jolly in Lace Commemorates Skegness Centenary

Lace reproductions of the original Jolly Fisherman poster being manufactures ay Steibel and Co Ltd, Skegness Works director Mr George Currie (right) and vice-chairman of the Totary Club Coun John Griffiths are watching.
To commemorate Skegness Centenary, Steibel and Co Ltd have manufactured a limited edition in lace reproductions of the original Jolly Fisherman poster.
Give hundred are to be on sale and they are expected to fetch at least £2 each. Ten were sold even before they were made for £5 each.
Profits will be donated to the Rotary Club’s Jubilee House, which they recently bought and furnished so that needy people can holiday in Skegness.
The designer is Skegness draughtsman, Mr Terry Rippon.
