The BBC have reproduced two of local photographer, Coun John Byford’s photos on the Radio Lincolnshire bus after seeing his photos on the internet.
The bus pulled into St Clement’s College in Skegness where Coun Byford gave a video interview for broadcast on the TV and radio.

Below, Councillor Byford talks about one of the pictures he has taken of a girl cartwheeling on Skegness beach.

The BBC film crew then went inside St Clement’s college to single out one of the student. They emerged with 12 year old, Hannah who had absolutely no idea what was happening!
Hannah was led to the bus where she came face to face with a photo of…HERSELF…doing a cartwheel…on Skegness beach…on the BBC Radio Lincolnshire bus!

If Hannah had the shock of her life, then so did her friends who were brought out of school to see the picture.
“It’s absolutely fantastic”, they said.

Hannah is pictured below alongside the photo of herself, with the BBC presenter and Counillor Byford who is, yes you’ve guessed, Hannah’s FATHER!

More pictures of the scene at St Clement’s College, Skegness.

Hannah is given a BBC Mug and Pencils to share with her friends. Hannah’s mum, Jane shows us a close up!

Picture below is Hannah with mum, Jane and dad, Coun Byford.
The picture beneath is Coun Byford with Hannah’s grandfather, Mr I Davis.

Remember there were two of Coun Byford’s photos chosen for reproduction on the BBC bus?
Here is the second, a photo of Lincoln Cathederal, taken from a very unusual, artistic angle.
Below is taken inside the BBC bus.

So did Hannah get the afternoon off school for a ride in the bus?
No such luck!
